Leadership is a group activity

Not everyone can be a leader in every situation.
Yet, everyone can benefit by developing 'leadership skills' as these skills help us to negotiate life's challenges and hurdles calmly and efficiently.
At the same name,  let me intervene that leadership is not at all about ordering others,  but working alongside , hand in hand with all, and enable progress.
All the truly great leaders have been proving to be hard working, honest, patient, modest and persistent in their behavioural pattern.
A leader always looks for results and not rewards.

The paragraph I wrote above is written with the idea to encourage the children of this age to be responsible leaders.
Opposite to which, we see our young ones often equating leadership with a position or designation such as 'monitors' or 'representative' or 'captain' in their school time or other learning classes.

Let us ask our children to identify the leaders they admire and discuss the persona and qualities these leaders represent. They could be any, for example, some may find Spiderman and Superman as their leader, while some may talk about the neighbouring people as their leader, or some may tell about the family members they admire as leader for them.
