Mishu was coming back from his tuition class. And couldn't stop himself from running because his friends were waiting for him to join them for a buddy's birthday bash.
He saw an old woman standing bent upon her stick and gasping for some water.
He rushed to her and made her sit on the bench nearby.
Next he took out his wallet and brought her a water bottle. The old woman drank water and felt better. She thanked Mishu and gave him blessings. Now, she asked Mishu to go back, because she was feeling fine.
Mishu took her by her arm and started walking slowly with her. He kept walking till they reached old woman's house. He also kept talking to her on the way so she doesn't feel out of place.
They reached the house. He ranged the door bell. A pretty girl of Mishu's age came out flaunting her nail art. And after listening to Mishu, she said,
"Thanks, but no thanks ! You know, it seems like this old woman has gone out of the game of brain. To me, it has been her daily task to move out on her own and then coming back piled on others. I am fed up..."
To which Mishu replied,
"She of course, seems to be going on her own because she believes that HUMANS are still out there on earth. Like we all do believe in some way or the other. Which planet do you belong to, Miss....?"
She banged the door at Mishu. And went inside. The old lady came out with some cookies and gave them to Mishu, saying
"God bless you my dear! I am used to all this, don't worry about that. You take care and go join the bash you were reaching for. Thank you again lovely child."
